Pivot wraps up its Fall 2013 season with the final show before the holidays. We have a much-anticipated new novel and poets in three distinct and unique flavours: iterative, elegant, and apocalyptic. Everything ends, but we’ll still see you again in 2014.

Nathaniel G. Moore is the author of five books including Wrong Bar, nominated for the 2010 ReLit Award for best novel and Let’s Pretend We Never Met, which The Georgia Straight called “breathtaking.” His fiction has appeared in subTerrain, Joyland, Taddle Creek and Verbicide Magazine and he’s written for Bravo! Television in the short film Sahara Sahara. A frequent contributor to Open Book: Toronto, The Globe & Mail and This Magazine, Moore lives in Toronto.
Marc di Saverio hails from Hamilton, Ontario. His poetry and translations have appeared in such outfits as The Dalhousie Review, Misunderstandings, Modern Haiku, Haiku Scotland and Maisonneuve Magazine. Recently, Simply Haiku named him one of “the top ten world’s finest living English haiku poets for 2011”. In September of this year, he published his debut collection, Sanatorium Songs, with Palimpsest Press.
Souvankham Thammavongsa was born in Nong Khai, Thailand, in 1978. She is the author of two poetry books, Small Arguments (Pedlar 2003), and Found (Pedlar 2007), which was made into a short film of the same name by filmmaker Paramita Nath and screened at festivals worldwide. In 2004, Small Arguments won the ReLit Award for Poetry. Her third collection, Light, was released this September from Pedlar.
Jacqueline Turner has published four collections with ECW Into the Fold (2000), Careful (2003), Seven Into Even (2006) and now Ends of the Earth (2013). She reviews for the Georgia Straight and teaches at Emily Carr University of Art + Design and Simon Fraser University. She lives in Vancouver, B.C. Her work has appeared in absinthe, West Coast Line, Rampike, qwerty, Tessera, and Fireweed. In 2005, Turner was Queensland’s inaugural poet-in-residence at the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts in Brisbane, Australia.
